What Lunafy does.

Lunafy gives you a server for your Discord bot, with a panel for the console, files and environment variables. It supports Node.js 18 and 20 and Python 3.10 and newer, and installs dependencies from package.json or requirements.txt.

Your first server is free and needs no credit card. It includes 256 MB of RAM, 0.5 vCPU and 512 MB of disk, and runs for 7 days at a time. You get an alert before it expires and renew it in one click. Each additional server costs €1 per month, never needs renewing and runs on the same hardware. See pricing and the features.

Why the weekly renewal.

Renewals keep free capacity for bots that are in use instead of abandoned servers. It is the one rule that lets the free server stay free.

Who runs it.

Lunafy launched in 2024 and is run by the Lunafy team from France. Servers run in the EU-West region and the platform is hosted by Hetzner in Germany. As of October 2026 Lunafy hosts about 200 bots for about 3,000 users.

Lunafy is an independent service and is not affiliated with Discord Inc. It is governed by French law. Read the terms of service and the privacy policy for the rules and how data is handled, and the FAQ for common questions.
