Questions.
Can I host a Discord bot for free on Lunafy?
Yes. Your first server is free, needs no credit card and no identity verification. It must be renewed every 7 days, otherwise it is deleted after a backup of its files is sent to you.
How much memory does a Discord bot get?
Every server, free or paid, has 256 MB RAM, 0.5 vCPU and 512 MB disk. That is enough for many small and medium bots, but not for bots that cache large amounts of data.
Which languages can I use for my Discord bot?
Node.js (20, 21, 22, 23, and 24) and Python (3.11, 3.12, 3.13, and 3.14). Libraries such as discord.js and discord.py run as usual.
Is uptime guaranteed?
No. Uptime is not guaranteed and support for free servers is best effort. Check the terms of service before running a critical bot.
